Government Medical College, Nagappatinam is a newly functioning in Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu. from the academic year 2021-2022. Government Medical College, Nagapattinam was constructed at Orathur near Nagapattinam on 60.04 hectares at a cost of Rs 366.8 crore. After the completion of its work, the college was granted admission by the National Medical Commission . In this case, on January 12, 2022, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the college through video.
